Protect Your Plants From Killer Weather With Indoor Grow Lamps
Just because the weather outside is frightful it doesn’t mean that the condition of your plants need to be. Indoor gardens can flourish year round with the right kinds of equipment and a little TLC.
Let the Sunshine In
The sun is good for our indoor plants but grow lights are 2 things that sunshine isn’t. 1) Dependable- with a timer on your grow lamp you will be able to supply much more regulated, nourishing light that your plants need in order to grow strong and healthy. 2) Adjustable- the sun can be intensely hot and unforgiving. It can dry out your plants before you know it. A good grow lamp puts out just the right amount of heat and light to maintain a steady supply of some of the most crucial ingredients to your indoor garden. Humidity is another thing that your plants crave and can be monitored indoors much easier than it can in an outdoor setting.
This One’s Just Right
That’s really what it boils down to…keeping conditions for your indoor garden just right. This is literally impossible out of doors. Too much dry heat and no rain and your plants bake, dry out and die. Too much rain and not enough drainage and they rot. To cold and they simply won’t flourish. And frost….oh don’t even mention the word in front of your plants; that’s just cruel. Mother Nature may have started all this plant stuff but man has most definitely improved the process by bringing it indoors. Don’t be afraid to spend a little money on the equipment for your indoor garden’s either. Don’t go crazy, but get dependable lamps, humidifiers, watering systems (if you go that route) and other supplies from reputable dealers and merchants. A little research online never hurt either when it comes to protecting your plants.
